About the Retreat
Back to Nature - 200hr Universal Yoga Teacher Training is a 3-week holistic immersion in the beautiful Italian countryside.
Back to Nature supports us in coming back to wholeness, back to intuition, seasonal living and the wisdom of natural cycles. If we are intuitively connected, the body will know what to do. This is natural. This is an universal wisdom that can be channelled by anyone. A practice of breathing, thinking, eating and moving the body with awareness and knowingness. Knowing what is right for you, what feels good for your body, what is needed. To listen to your body, to respect your boundaries, to feel your emotions, to honour your intuition.
The core of our offering is about returning back to the ways of Mother Earth. We practise an embodiment of Nature through movement, meditation, breathwork and nutrition. It is not based on one asana style, teaching or philosophy, but rather combines ancient wisdom while working with the energy and teachings of the Five Elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Spirit/Ether). We explore the wisdom of Nature while exploring our inner climate and restoring ourselves to natural balance. By harmonising the yin/yang, feminine/masculine energy within us, we can find a natural rhythm that aligns with our most authentic Self.
This is a holistic practice founded on a wide variety of trainings and practices that Caroline & Timothy have experienced over the past 10+ years. Together they bring elements of playfulness, loving attention and empowerment to those who practise with them. This teacher training is meant to fill you up with a joyful, loving, fun, meaningful, transformative and empowering energy. The yoga is mainly based on Hatha Yoga principles, yet encompasses various styles - such as Tantra Yoga, Elemental Yoga, Hatha Yoga - and includes various other practices such as Dance, Qi Gong, Emotional Release, Energy Clearing, Essential Oils & Massage. This is a deeply intuitive and nurturing form of yoga and movement medicine.
Along with learning how to teach asana, create powerful sequences & flowing classes, planning a yoga retreat, developing your voice as a teacher, combining music & dance, guiding meditation & visual journeys, and moving energy through subtle techniques; this teacher training is also a healing experience. In an overly Masculine world, working with the Feminine brings us back to balance. This helps to soften the body and mind, while strengthening our relationship to Mother Nature and ourselves. This is a practice that turns into our own inner medicine. And then expands into an offering to share with others.
Whether you are called to become a yoga teacher, looking to deepen and enrich your current yoga path, feeling lost or out of balance, or looking for an immersion to empower and reconnect to yourself, this will be a powerful healing journey for all! You will receive the tools and training to create a regular intuitive Yoga practice for yourself, and if you feel called, to share this with others in classes and retreats. Sharing a style of yoga that is universal to all.
This training is for ALL. There is no experience requirement, gender or age limitation. Inviting every-body to move, dance and explore Nature's Wisdom with us. All are welcome!

If you're looking for a place to rediscover the connection with mother earth and yourself then this is a perfect choice. Caroline and Tim are some of the kindest, most knowledgeable hosts and I would highly recommend visiting them for a retreat. About the Teachers & Founders
Caroline
Travelling the world, Caroline discovered yoga at 19 and continued with a dedicated personal practice that gave her a sense of stability in all her movement. Recognising the powerful transformation that happens during a retreat, she has spent the past five years hosting her own yoga retreats and immersions in Italy and Bali. As a certified 500hr Elemental Yoga Teacher & Yoga Therapist, passionate foodie and holistic health coach she has found her soul work in creating healing retreats, offering one-on-one coaching sessions and writing. She has written two books: This is for You and Nature's Calling. With a new cookbook just out! Growing up in East Africa, Caroline was raised with a deep respect for Mother Nature and has deepened this connection through her travels, way of life and, now, the manifestation of Tara Nature Retreat. Her favorite colour is green, she loves mangoes and singing Disney songs.
Timothy
Timothy's journey to personal transformation began with a wander through India in 2003. This was the pivot point for years of training in the yogic, shamanic, and buddhist traditions. He has completed over 500hr Hatha Yoga and Yoga Nidra certified trainings, and is a passionate educator in both yoga and in the natural sciences at the university of his PhD. Timothy integrates psychology, non violent communication, and buddhist philosophy into his guidance, coupled with his intuition and sense of personal truth. His guidance aims for improved understanding of our inner experiences, our habitual interactions all around us, and with building the grit and volition necessary to bring about personal transformation within this lifetime. Timothy's favourite colour is blue, enjoys ecstatic dance, chess, good food, philosophical conversations and his heart warms when guiding singing circles around a campfire.
