We are 2h from Rome FCO and 90 min from Rome Tiburtina, accessible in a comfortable shuttle bus. Close enough to be accessible by all, far enough to be deep in Umbrian Nature.

Nature - Tara Nature Retreat is in a pristine, oak forest, amidst birds, humming insects, and wildlife, and also enjoys the long views of picturesque landscape renown in Tuscany and Umbria.

Run by Yogis - The permanent residents, Caroline and Timothy, are veteran yoga teachers who lead their own yoga retreats and know what it takes to make your retreat a success.

Equipped - We have all the yoga equipment you will need, plus a large outdoor yoga deck and indoor Yoga Shala, so the group can practice no matter the weather.

Food! - We love food! Caroline wrote and published a cookbook and we attract the very best of yoga retreat chefs. We source from local, organic farms for the erngizing fruits and vegetables.

Cooler in the summer - We are about 5 degree Celsius cooler than Rome, due to our 400m elevation, the surrounding forest, and breezes on our hilltop. We also enjoy a 15m cool pool to revel in sun and cool of in the water - the very best of summer vibes :).

Easy access to Rome FCO / Rome Tiburtina - Tara Nature Retreat is only 90 minute drive from Rome Tiburtina and have a direct shuttle bus to Rome FCO international airport and Rome Tiburtina train station.

Culture - We are at the centre of authentic Italian culture & cuisine, with quick access to well known cities of Rome, Perugia, and Assisi, and "off the beaten track" locations of Todi, Narni, and Orte. Wine and olive farm tours are easily accessible. We have access to the fairly-priced transportation providers to get you there.
